Find yourself struggling to find new tunes? That’s what we’re here for!
It’s Artist Newsday and Game Time Tuesday here on The Afternoon Drive, and we’ve got a lot of new music to cover!
Terrian has a new single from her debut album! “He Sees You” is the latest track from the Memphis, Tennessee songwriter, and we’re loving it here at WNZR!
We’ve already got something to look forward to for the summer! Stars Go Dim has announced their upcoming album ‘Roses” releases July 11! Front man Chris Cleveland spoke about the inspiration behind the album, stating: ” “I’m using roses as imagery around this whole album to signify this idea that God is working in unexpected places. You see roses growing from things you wouldn’t expect to see them grow from. I think so many times in life we feel like we’re living in a wasteland, and we’re missing the fact that we’re actually standing in forests of green, lush life…if we just slow down, if we just take a look around, if we just say, ‘God, how can I meet You here?’ we’d see that God is moving and working all the time. That’s what Roses is about.”
Following 15 years of incredible work, Michael Tait is stepping away from Newsboys. You can check out the full story HERE!
“If you only knew the treasure that you really are If you could understand the measure of the Father’s heart He loves you, He loves you, He loves you Fall in His arms and let Him wash you clean He’ll tear off the chains so that you can be free A new life begins and the old is redeemed”
That’s from Jeremy Camp’s “Getting Started”! Congratulations to Jonathan from Mount Vernon for correctly guessing the song! He wins the $5 Watts Restaurant Gift Card!
Today’s Monday Motivation songs include Hope Darst’s ‘Peace Be Still,’ which includes the lyric, “peace over me.”
Hope says part of this inspiration came from her co-writer, Mia Fieldes, who was going through a life moment where she felt things were falling apart. Hope shares, “Her (Mia’s) vulnerability opened the door for me to share the anxiety and fear I was feeling in that same season. Neither of us felt peaceful that day, but we knew God promises us peace. So we chose to prophetically sing God’s promise of peace over our lives, our hearts, and our minds that day.”
Name something you might find on a bulletin board.

We’d be dishonest if we chose to ignore everything happening around us. There’s a lot of hurt in both our country and world, and if we’re being honest, it can be incredibly overwhelming. But that’s what we’re for here at the Lifeline. We want to uplift, inspire and encourage you that no matter, we can shine a light into dark situations.
It’s Praise Thursday on The Afternoon Drive, and today we wanted to share stories of people shining light and providing hope into the difficult situations faced by those in Los Angeles, California right now. Yes, the fires are intense, but people are stepping up and helping to make a difference.
If you’ve never head of the Jesus Loves You. Company, they’re a clothing brand spreading the message of Jesus’ love, and they’re making an effort to support LA in the midst of these wildfires. Last week for a 72 hour window, they sold some specially designed shirts representing the city of LA…and every single profit from purchases is being given to support aide and victims of the fires. Seeing a business like Jesus Loves You. provide help through creative ways is so cool to witness.
God’s Pit Crew, a disaster response ministry, is dispatching a full tractor-trailer load of Blessing Buckets to the greater Los Angeles area. The disaster relief buckets, each carefully packed with critical supplies, are intended to provide immediate assistance to those impacted by the fires.
If you’re interested in sponsoring a Blessing Bucket – which cost $35 per bucket to fill – or to support their ongoing relief efforts is encouraged to visit GodsPitCrew.org or call (434) 836-4472.

How do YOU stay cozy in temperatures like this? Because we’re still trying to figure it out! It’s Who Knew Wednesday on The Afternoon Drive, and we’re wondering what your go to snack to stay cozy in this weather is. Maybe you’re a weirdo (like Judah) and prefer something cold and refreshing, or maybe you’re a classic warm snack type of person.
Our very own Joe Rinehart stands on crunchy Cheetos being the perfect winter day snack, or if you’re opting for something warm, he recommends Frito scoops with warm sloppy joe’s (which sounds sooooo good). Let us know what yours is!
We got to give away even more Winter Jam passes! Congrats to Wyatt from Mount Vernon for winning two passes to Winter Jam 2025!!
