Who am I?
- I was born today, November 19, 1921, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- I had started off my baseball career as a catcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1948 to 1957.
- I won the National League Most Valuable Player Award three times, in 1951, 1953, and 1955.
- In 1958, I was in a car accident which left me paralyzed from the shoulders down, which ended my career.
- I was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969.
