Mystery Monday 12/28

Today is Mystery Monday and Jess hid something very tricky in the mystery box! I had to give clues for you to guess what was inside using my five senses.
The hearing test clues were the sound of rolling and the item was around the length of your forearm.
The smell test helped us know that the object smelled like “food that had been in the fridge too long.”
The test made the object’s identity very clear.  It is something put on salads, it’s creamy and zesty and it’s a cream color.
Ruth from Howard called in and correctly guessed the item, which was a bottle of ranch dressing! Congratulations Ruth!

Jess and I shared our favorite food we ate over the Christmas weekend! We both concluded the mashed potatoes we had were amazing and of course all the special Christmas treats!

We also shared our favorite present we received this Christmas! Jess’ favorite present is professional lights she will use for filming videos! My favorite present was an iPad!

We hope you had an amazing Christmas weekend spent with loved ones! We encourage you to keep the spirit of Christmas alive all year round and remember the reason we celebrate! For unto us a child is born!

Have a great Monday Night and join us tomorrow for Game Time Tuesday and your chance to win!

Today it’s Praise Thursday! We talked about the Kyle Idleman’s book Gods at War.  We focused on the points he makes about the god of me.  More often than not we put ourselves in front of our relationship with God.  Too many times we let things, stuff, people, etc. get in the way of our love for God.

We played WNZR Christmas Exchange and our winners are Abby Pratt from Mount Vernon and Bonnie Taylor of Fredericktown!

Tune in tomorrow for your chance to play when you here the cue to call!

Mystery Monday – 12/7

Today was Mystery Monday on the Afternoon Drive!

Since it is Food For The Hungry week, I had a mystery question about Food for the Hungry. I asked how much money and how many truckloads of food were collected in the first ever FFTH drive in 1982. We didn’t receive a winner for this question, but $1,600 and 7 truckloads of food were raised at the 1982 drive.

I also told you all about the various events happening that benefit Food For The Hungry, and you can find all of that information over here.

Have a great week!
