Visit our Facebook page to learn more.

Make sure you are staying up on the AD miniseries Sunday nights on NBC…after all, we always say we want quality Christian entertainment, and we’re getting it…so please watch or record or both!

Our word of the day was ANFRACTUOUS – meaning full of intricate windings or turnings.

Microwaves! Who Knew?!?

Today for Who Knew Wednesday we talked about things you never knew your microwave could do.

Here is the link to the article we found: http://list25.com/25-things-you-never-knew-your-microwave-could-do/1/

Some of our favorites were removing a postage stamp, making scrambled eggs and re-hydrating stale bread.

Our word of the day was capricious which means to be unpredictable, fickle, impulsive or changeable.

Here’s a link: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/capricious

We hope you have a grand Who Knew Wednesday and can put this new information to use in your own life!

Experience Week

The website DaysOfTheYear.com revealed that this is EXPERIENCE WEEK.

This is a week where a company called Into the Blue encourages people to give their friends and family an ‘experience’ like nothing they’ve ever done before.  Examples would be zorbing, a word that, quite honestly, I had no idea existed until last week. Zorbing is getting into a plastic bubble-type ball on water or down a hill, and, well…see for yourself by searching ZORBING on YouTube.

Our word of the day was ENJOIN – it means to instruct or urge (someone) to do something!

Thanks for listening!

Mystery Monday

Our MYSTERY BOX item today was an official NHL hockey puck!

Today’s show also featured information about Lauren Daigle’s new CD, out TOMORROW! (that’s April 14th)

The CD is called ‘How Can it Be,’ which is also the name of her mega-hit debut single.

Find out more at this link: http://laurendaigle.com

Our word of the day is CONSTELLATE (CON-stuh-late)…it means to form or cause to form into a cluster or group, or to ‘gather together.’

I suggest we CONSTELLATE each day at 90.9 FM or at wnzr.fm for the Afternoon Drive…sound good?

Thanks for listening!

AD the TV series

On Thursday’s show, we talked about the book of Acts and how it helped inspire the new NBC-TV series AD: The Bible Continues.

If you missed the first episode on Easter Sunday, watch it here

There is also a great resource page for AD fans looking to do a small group study or host watching parties around the episodes!

Our word of the day was CAITIFF (KAY-tiff), meaning a despicable or cowardly person.

Thanks for listening!

Tomlin tickets and sweet smells?

Today we launched a week of Chris Tomlin trivia on the show…listen all week to win tickets before you can buy them!

In case you missed today’s question:

How old was Chris when he wrote his first worship song?

Answer: 14

Today’s Word of the Day was a subtle reminder for those left over Easter Eggs (of the hard-boiled variety, of course!)

RANCID – meaning smelling or tasting unpleasant
