Power plus Prophets!

Here are today’s Artist Newsday stories:

Continuing to break new ground with first-of-its-kind technology and out-of-the-box creativity, Word Entertainment’s Sidewalk Prophets announces “The Chosen Tour,” a live stream concert outing that will hit 28 cities this fall. Fans will have the rare opportunity to determine the band’s set list in real time for each date, ensuring every show is completely unique. Although each concert will broadcast to a different city and a different set of fans each night, Sidewalk Prophets will perform every show live from their warehouse in Nashville. Named for the band’s current single, “The Chosen Tour” follows the unprecedented success of Sidewalk Prophets’ first live stream concert run, “The Virtual Album Experience,” which took their latest album, The Things That Got Us Here, directly to more than 25,000 viewers in 32 cities. They include Toledo on 10/18, Little Hocking on 10/25 and Columbus on 10/28! Curb | Word Entertainment’s Dove Award-nominated and K-LOVE Fan Award-winning act We Are Messengers amps up the strength of their sophomore project with Power +, which dropped on friday (9/11) across all digital service providers. An extension of the band’s Power LPwhich released in January, Power + includes the full Power track listing, plus one new song, “Image Of God.”this new track is a timely addition to the Power + set. Nashville Life Music backs up We Are Messengers front man Darren Mulligan on the emotional track, which is slated as the band’s next radio single. “These are challenging times where we need unity, hope, empathy and love,” Mulligan shares. “‘Image Of God’ is a song to unite us, reminding us that every single person is created wonderfully in God’s image, and as such, is invaluable and fully worthy of our time, respect, love and honor.”

We’re running out the darkness,
Chasing down the dead of night,
We’re bringing hope to the streets,
There’s a new way…a better life.

The song? We Are Messengers with ‘Power.’ Congratulations to Michelle from Mount Vernon, who wins the $5 gift card to Everlasting Cup!
