Today on the show I shared a devotional from Our Daily Bread. This devotional is so good because it reminds us that even though we sin, we can always run back to Christ for him to forgive our sins. We will be cleansed and made whole again. Also we had our weekly Name That Tune Feature where one lucky person has a chance to win TWO $5 gift cards to Watts Restaurant.
Here is the devotional that I shared from Our Daily Bread titled, “Cleansed By Christ”. Read more about it here!

Today’s Monday Motivation song comes from Consumed By Fire and their song Walk With Jesus. These lyrics remind us that we need to live the way that Jesus says we need to live!
I’m gonna live the way He says to live Do what He says to do You can choose whatever road you choose But I’m gonna love the way He says to love Trust the way He says to trust This world alone will never be enough!

Are you in the market for some wisdom? Some advice leading to good judgment? The Word of God is a great place to start:
“The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy.” – James 3:17 (KJV)
Other translations of this verse include the adjectives, “considerate, submissive, impartial, sincere.” Today we shared a prayer from authors Christine Dallman and Randy Petersen:
‘”I’ve had enough of worldly wisdom, dear Lord, from so-called sages who tell me that money buys happiness and success brings friends. They say I should put myself first, indulging my desires and ignoring others. This, I’m told, is the path to fulfillment. But that can’t be right, can it? Lord, I ask for an extra helping of your ‘wisdom from above.’ Show me how to treat others with gentle love. Teach me to deal peaceably with the challenges in my life. Help me be fruitful and merciful. Erase the petty prejudices that keep me from appreciating your other children. Let me yield fully to your perfect wisdom and set aside the tame truisms of this world.”
Dylan shared a devotional from Our Daily Bread called ‘Words Reflect Our Heart.’ Read more here!
We had a stumper this week! A couple of hints: it was a song we played in the 4pm hour, a song that samples part of a classic hymn and part of the hymn title is in the title of this song.
Today on the show I talked with Talisha Beha who is the Integration and Family Engagement Coordinator for the Knox County Board of Developmental Disabilities. She will be talking about the Special Olympics program here in Knox County. Today on the show I shared some exciting news about how Jeremy Camp has released a new 13 song album as of yesterday. This features the song that we play here on WNZR titled ‘These Days’. We also had our weekly song poetry where one lucky person has a chance to win a $5 gift card to Watts Restaurant if they can guess the correct answer.
Here is the link to the article about the 13 song album that Jeremy released: Click HERE.
Here is the summarized version of this article:
Jeremy Camp released a new album called Deep Waters! This album has 13 songs in it, including one song that we play here on WNZR titled These Days. Jeremy describes this album as a pop-infused reflection of the past two-plus decades of his life in the spotlight, as well as the appreciation for the moment of the now. He also recently had emergency heart surgery, so he knows the importance of living in the moment.
Jeremy had this to say about his album, “This record was written out of one of the most difficult yet profoundly beautiful seasons of my life,” he says. “Going through and expressing everything that God has unfolded over the years, including the challenges, joys, and pains that have led me into such a deeper connection with Him.”
His song “These Days” is currently top 2 in Christian Radio.
Here is Jeremy Camp’s song ‘These Days’:
I’ll find a way to praise You From the bottom of my broken heart ‘Cause I think I’d rather strike a match, than curse the dark
The correct answer is Hallelujah Anyway by Rend Collective.
Congratulations to Annabelle of Fredericktown for guessing the correct answer! She wins a $5 gift card to Watts Restaurant.
Today’s Monday Motivation song comes from Zach Williams and ‘Heart of God.’ These lyrics remind us of the depth of God’s love and his pursuit of us!
He’s not sittin’ there shakin’ His head Wishin’ He’d never went to that cross He’s not sittin’ there shakin’ His head Writin’ you off, leavin’ you lost He’s not sittin’ there shakin’ His head He went to that cross, He went to that cross!
