Game Time Tuesday – 9/29

Today was Game Time Tuesday on the Afternoon Drive and I had 2 rounds of Song Poetry!

Julie from Fredericktown picked up two tickets to see Chonda Pierce on her Focus on the Funny Tour, by correctly guessing that the lyrics, And it’s a fight for my attention/I’m being pulled every direction/This world tells me trust what I can see/Lord, won’t You help me/Believe what I believe, belong to Love & The Outcome’s song, King of My Heart.

The second round of song poetry featured these lyrics:

We’re never given the spirit of fear
Only the power of love
We’ll keep on running and not grow weak
His strength is more than enough

We had a stumper with that round, so those lyrics will come back for next week’s Game Time Tuesday.

The Word of the Day was quotidian, an adjective meaning everyday or ordinary. You can read more on that here.

Don’t forget to head over here to find all the information for October First Friday and Dogtoberfest!

A recent study (which you can find here) researched the amount of time students had to eat their school lunches, and how that impacted their food choices and the nutritional value they received. I asked you what the premium amount of time students needed to eat was, and Sarah from Lexington called in and correctly guessed 25 minutes.
