Who Knew Wednesday fun facts at the Knox County Fair!

On today’s show, Joe was live from the Knox County Fair, and we shared tons of fun facts about the fair, as well as shared lots of results from different competitions and events from the fair!

On today’s show we played Who Am I? where we choose a celebrity born on this day and you call in and try and guess who it is.

  • I was born on July 27, 1975, in New York City
  • I was the first overall pick in the 1993 Major League Baseball draft selected by the Seattle Mariners
  • I played 22 seasons overall for the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and New York Yankees.
  • I am a 3 time MVP, 14 time All Star and won a World Series in 2009 with the Yankees.
  • Since retiring in 2016, I have gone on to become a philanthropist with investments such as becoming co-minority owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Praise Thursday with the Knox County Fair right around the corner!

Today on the Afternoon Drive, Brogan shared a devotional taking about the them of being dissatisfied, and how life and material things can often make us feel dissatisfied, and how our spiritual life can help us feel more whole and satisfied with our life. To read the full devotional, click here!

Fair, moon walks and concerts…

Who knew?

July 20th is the 53rd anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s moon walk. July 20, 1969 was the day when Wapakoneta’s favorite son walked on the surface of the moon – “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
