The Healing and the Beginning!

Curb | Word Entertainment artist Blanca released “Mi Sanador,” the Spanish version of her current radio hit “The Healing,” last week.

Her new album, The Heartbreak And The Healing, is set to arrive September 23.

“Mi Sanador (The Healing)” puts a new twist on Blanca’s latest single. Stirring up faith in all who hear this powerful anthem of hope, Blanca shares that she wrote the pop selection as a testimony to the healing she’s experienced in her own heart following a series of life-shaking events.

Blanca reminds listeners that the God who holds the stars and moon in place is the same God who ignites healing in our very souls.

Transparent Productions is excited to announce Big Daddy Weave’s “Only The Beginning Tour 2022” this fall. The 20-city tour will kick off October 5 in Davenport, IA, and will wrap on November 20 in Myrtle Beach, SC, and feature special guests Austin French and Hannah Kerr.

It includes two stops in Ohio – October 20th in Austintown and October 22nd in Archbold

What’s a Waffle Bomb?

It’s new this year to the 167th Ohio State Fair! A waffle bomb is a chocolate-covered jumbo strawberry deep fried in waffle batter. Just one of the many new treats…or $30 meals…take your pick. Some of my other discoveries:

  • the Alfredo-stuffed turkey leg from Hickory Tree BBQ, right beside the Main Street Stage
  • Cajun waffle dogs – andouille sausages, dipped in waffle batter, deep-fried
  • cold edible cookie dough
  • cornbread funnel cake
  • waffle pickle dogs – pickle spears on a stick, wrapped in black forest ham, dipped in Belgian Waffle batter, deep-fried
  • Nutter Butter stuffed funnel
Who Am I?
–         I was born August 3, 1977 in San Mateo, California
–         I attended the school UP NORTH (Michigan)
–         I was a 6th round NFL Draft Pick in 2000
–         Since then, I’ve won a record seven Super Bowls with two teams
–         My wife is from Brazil
–         I retired, then unretired this spring

Who Knew Wednesday fun facts at the Knox County Fair!

On today’s show, Joe was live from the Knox County Fair, and we shared tons of fun facts about the fair, as well as shared lots of results from different competitions and events from the fair!

On today’s show we played Who Am I? where we choose a celebrity born on this day and you call in and try and guess who it is.

  • I was born on July 27, 1975, in New York City
  • I was the first overall pick in the 1993 Major League Baseball draft selected by the Seattle Mariners
  • I played 22 seasons overall for the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and New York Yankees.
  • I am a 3 time MVP, 14 time All Star and won a World Series in 2009 with the Yankees.
  • Since retiring in 2016, I have gone on to become a philanthropist with investments such as becoming co-minority owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
