The Band is Back Together!

Hi!

Here is my story about this band getting back together:

The band is back together, literally. Tenth Avenue North is returning to touring with their “Invited Tour.” This tour is based upon their new single “Invited.” That’s not the only reason though, the band will also be sharing fan favorites from years past.

Here is what founding member and frontman Mike Donehey had to say about the band getting back together, “After a four-year hiatus, we are back and better than ever.” “[We have] some new songs and some new players, [and] we are ready to lose our voices with you. Come join us on the Invited Tour hitting stops nationwide this fall.”

With over two decades of nearly two million albums sold and multiple Dove Awards, Tenth Avenue North sensed that God had something else in store for them. A farewell tour was planned in 2020 but was disrupted by the pandemic. The four years following the break sharpened the band’s focus and God used what they thought was an end to create room for them to experience Him in a new way. Releasing new music and the upcoming tour, Tenth Avenue North is ready to get on the road, bringing along new artist Natalie Layne.

Here is what Mike Donehey said about adding Layne, “We’re beyond thrilled to announce we are bringing new rising star Natalie Layne with us. We caught her set at a festival last year and were blown away by her musical prowess and captivating personality. We guarantee these will be unforgettable nights of new Tenth music and classic Tenth songs you’ve come to love.”

The band’s last stop will be in Ashland, Ohio on October 20th. Tickets are on sale now.

So we sing praise to the Father who gave us the Son
Praise to the Spirit who’s livin’ in us
When I was a sinner, He saved me from who I was.

Josiah Queen Makes History!

Yes, that’s right!

Read more about how Josiah made history by reading the article below:

Josiah Queen has made history with his debut album, The Prodigal. His debut album is No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. Not only did his album top the charts, but it was also the biggest album streaming debut by a new artist in CCM history with an incredible 6.6 million global streams. Josiah has become popular over the last several weeks. He has 125M total streams across different streaming platforms around the globe.

Here is what Josiah Queen had to say about the response of his debut album, “It’s been surreal to see the response to The Prodigal,” he says. “It’s wild to me that these songs which I wrote in my living room and bedroom have made their way to people all over the world. My hope is that the album leads people closer to God.”

His music has made an impact on people of every age. He recently completed his first ever tour, and the response was impressive. He sold out all of his concerts. He will be joining Forrest Frank for his summer tour later on this summer. He will also be performing at the Grand Ole Opry on July 2nd.

Here is the lyric video for his song The Prodigal:

I don’t need the money
I don’t want the fame
I don’t want what I can’t take
With me in the grave
.

The answer is The Prodigal by Josiah Queen.

TobyMac Releases A Brand New Single!

Hi!

Today on the show I talked about how TobyMac recently released his new single titled, “Nothin’ Sweeter.” This song is upbeat and really shares a great message!

Here is what I shared on the show:

TobyMac recently released his brand new single titled, “Nothin’ Sweeter.” TobyMac has been one of the legends in the Christian music industry earning seven GRAMMY Awards throughout his decorated career. His new single will be debuting on WNZR on Friday’s Morning Thing.

Here is what TobyMac said about his new song. “I’ve had some of the most amazing times that one could ever have on this earth, and I’ve also walked through some things that have hit me very hard,” he says about the song. “I don’t think we’re that different from one another in that we all experience some beauty and some things that leave us utterly confused and deeply hurting. I wrote “Nothin’ Sweeter’ because I have been uptown and downtown; I have seen the good of this life and the sorrow by the bitter graveside; and I’ve landed on this: there is nothin’ sweeter in this life than the love of God. It’s what I want to wake up to and what I go to bed to – there’s nothin’ sweeter than His unfailing love.”

Here is the lyric video for this song:

I don’t need the money
I don’t want the fame
I don’t want what I can’t take
With me in the grave
