Light for the Rejected

Today for Praise Thursday we shared two devotionals out of Our Daily Bread. Alyssa shared a devotional called “Refuge for the Rejected”. This devotional says, “When others misunderstand or reject us, God is our refuge.” To read the full devotional click HERE. The devotional that Kelsi shared is called “Light in the Dark”. Who Knew Wednesday!

Lexie & Joe talk about a bunch of fun topics for this week’s Afternoon Drive!

  • Today is my 70th birthday – I was born April 21, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY 
  • I went to college on a wrestling scholarship 
  • My friends entered me into the Golden Gloves tournament as a joke and I advanced to the final 
  • I’m best known for playing characters, sharing my real first name, on the TV shows ‘Taxi’ and “Who’s the Boss?’ 
  • I also hosted my own daytime talk show 
  • I starred in the movie Angels in the Outfield 
  • I’ve been nominated for Golden Globe, People’s Choice, and Emmy Awards
