Today was Mystery Monday on the Afternoon Drive and we had the return of the Mystery Box! Joe hid something in the box, and Linda from Utica correctly called in and guessed that it was croutons!
We recapped our WNZR Fireworks Viewing Party, where I got this picture Joe talked about on the show of me “holding” fireworks. Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the Mount Vernon fireworks with us on Friday night!
Our Word of the Day was neophilia, a noun meaning love or enthusiasm for what is new or novel. You can read more about it here.
We also talked about Christmas in July, which is happening this Saturday, July 11th. There will be collection sites open all over Knox County and our Big Blue Crew will be going on the road, traveling to various locations from 10 am – 12 pm, to give you live updates. You can find a list of needed items here.
Have a great week!
