What an appropriate day here on the Afternoon Drive to fall on Global Love Day!
Wow. Man, it’s been an absolutely crazy three years as a WNZR staff member. Next fall, I will be part of music ensemble on campus and then I will be attending the Contemporary Music Center in Nashville, Tennessee in spring semester.
Today on the show, we shared some easy (well, in theory) ways to express your love. This is something we so often forget to do, but goes such a long way when we do.
From Psychology Today, we shared 7 ways to express your love.
Some highlights included…
Tell your loved ones how much you love and appreciate them.
Write a letter or send a card to someone you love, and mail it.
and… Practice the art of forgiveness.

We also love to tie in the spiritual aspect of our topics, and today is the perfect opportunity for that! We shared 14 ways to show love to those you love that are biblically- based! Read the full article from Crosswalk here!
Some highlights…
Pray for them – The Bible is full of people praying for the ones they love. The church prayed for Peter in jail (Acts 12:5). Jesus prayed for the disciples (John 17:6-19). Paul prayed for the Ephesian believers (Ephesians 1:15-23)
Humbly serve them – Jesus set the example (John 13:1-17). He calls us – His followers – to also humbly and graciously serve others (Gal 5:13).
and… Rejoice and mourn with them – We show deep care for others when their hurts and joys are also ours. Don’t hold back. Let the tears and the cheers flow! (1 Corinthians 12:25-26).
Take the time to tell the people you love that you love them.
Not just today, but every day. Life is too short.
Enjoy the time that you have with the people that you love.
Drive around town together with the windows down and the music blasting.
Sing really loud and bad harmonies to your favorite songs like goofballs.
Appreciate every sunset and every clear night sky.
Fly kites in 30+ mile per hour winds.
Fall in love with the eye color of your friends. Their voices. Their smiles.
Support each other. Cheer each other on. Sit front row. Make signs. Be loud.
Drive to an event in Cleveland on a whim with your apartment mates.
Laugh together. Cry together. Forgive. Encourage. Surprise each other.
Worship together.
Do really stupid Photoshop projects simply because you can.
Go to concerts in Columbus with your mom.
Complain about life at 2 in the morning with your roommate.
Have a wall-full of post-it notes with goofy quotes and memories.
You know how much different your life would be if you lived without regrets?
I do.
Don’t let any of it slip by.
Tell he people that you love them that you love them.
Life is too short.
