Today on the show I talked to Mark Tillack who is the organizer of Repair Café here in Knox County. ·      I was born on February 7th, 1867, in Pepin, Wisconsin.

·      I was the second of five children.

·      I was a descendant of the Delano family. Meaning my ancestor was U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

·      I wrote a series of books that are famous today. The biggest one that I am known for is The Little House on the Prairie which I wrote in 1935 based on my actual home.

·      I died on February 10th, 1957, at the age of 90.
