We’re at the Knox County Fair today, we talked alot about different things we’re giving away and had conversations with all the people who present at the fair and make the fair happen in the first place. You can find all the information about our giveaways for this year’s fair right HERE

WHO AM I?

  1. I was born on July 29, 1938, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
  2. In 1959, I got my first gig at a local radio station, where I was hired as a member of the news department; were many of my stories were picked up by the CBC
  3. In 1965, ABC hired me for their 15-minute nightly newscast, where I struggled a bit before moving on overseas
  4. After a brief stint abroad, I returned to the U.S. to become a Washington correspondent and news anchor for ABC’s new morning program AM America
  5. Throughout my career, I reported on some of the biggest events of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, including the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Gulf War, and the September 11 attacks.
